Responsibilities
- Greet & Assist: Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance with inquiries and product selections.
- Transaction Handling: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a tidy sales floor during the evening hours.
- Customer Support: Address customer concerns and feedback professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Security & Safety: Monitor the premises to ensure a safe shopping environment for all staff and customers.
- Operational Support: Perform closing duties, including cash balancing and store cleanup.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (typically 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and weekends.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Experience: Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Math Skills: Basic math proficiency for handling cash and transactions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work well independently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move around the sales floor.
