Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing exceptional service.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Organize and maintain the sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively and shelves are fully stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain store standards.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and minor complaints with patience and problem-solving skills.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical activity (lifting up to 25 lbs).
- Basic computer literacy and cash handling experience.
- A valid driver's license is not required but may be beneficial for local errands.
