Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Administer medications and injections per protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Handle patient scheduling and phone triage
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and clinic safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred
- Basic phlebotomy and ECG skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Evening/weekend availability mandatory
- Valid CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
