Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests with precision based on server availability and table rotation
- Manage waitlist efficiently using digital reservation system during peak evening hours
- Process payments and resolve billing inquiries with exceptional attention to detail
- Coordinate with servers to ensure seamless table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Execute opening/closing duties including sanitizing stations and restocking supplies
- Upsell seasonal specials and premium beverage offerings to enhance guest experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality experience with proven guest interaction skills
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities in high-pressure settings
- Proficiency with reservation systems (OpenTable experience preferred)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and late evenings until 11 PM
- Valid California Food Handler Card and TIPS certification
- Impeccable grooming standards and professional appearance
- Ability to stand 8+ hours with frequent movement
