Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests within 5 minutes of arrival
- Manage waitlist and table rotations during peak dinner hours
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff for seamless service
- Process payments and handle guest inquiries with professionalism
- Maintain clean, organized host stand and entrance area
- Upsell reservations and special dining experiences
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year customer service or hospitality experience
- Flexible availability (4-6 hour shifts, 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic POS system knowledge
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Must be available for immediate start
- Food handler certification preferred
