Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor upon entry and throughout their shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash and credit payments.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies efficiently and professionally.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockrooms, and restrooms.
- Restock merchandise on shelves to ensure optimal inventory visibility and availability.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a calm and solution-oriented manner to ensure high satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during peak evening hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; prior retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Proficiency with mobile devices and standard computer software.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
