Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly as they enter and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
- Transaction Support: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Store Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including straightening displays and organizing inventory.
- Inquiry Resolution: Address customer questions regarding products, services, and store policies with patience and professionalism.
- Merchandising: Assist in receiving, tagging, and stocking new inventory to ensure product availability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the day shift team to ensure seamless store operations and transition of duties.
- Security Awareness: Monitor the sales floor to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for all patrons.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Attitude: A positive, friendly, and professional demeanor is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately, such as scanning items and cash handling.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and reach shelves comfortably.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new POS systems.
