Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems with speed and accuracy.
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining strict accountability.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked.
- Handle cash drawers accurately and prepare daily bank deposits.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
