Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise onto shelves and storage racks efficiently.
- Organize inventory to ensure maximum visibility and accessibility for customers and staff.
- Rotate stock to ensure product freshness and strict compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times, adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Assist in unloading trucks and transporting goods to designated storage areas during early morning hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation and a history of punctual attendance.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, scanning, and accuracy checks.
- Willingness to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
