As an Early Morning Stocker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are stocked, our displays are organized, and our customers have the best shopping experience possible. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Merchandise Handling: Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise onto shelves according to company standards and visual merchandising plans.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, stockrooms, and receiving areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Customer Engagement: Assist customers in locating products and provide exceptional service in a timely manner.
- Truck Unloading: Safely unload delivery trucks in the early morning hours and organize products efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies, loss prevention procedures, and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and consistency.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous stocking, retail, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
