Responsibilities
- Merchandising & Display: Organize, face, and stock shelves to ensure products are displayed attractively and safely according to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Rotate stock to ensure freshness and accuracy; assist in cycle counts and receiving new merchandise deliveries.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, back room, and stock areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions regarding product locations, and maintain a high level of customer service during early hours.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other stocking equipment as required.
- Adherence to Safety: Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically starting between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching motions.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a history of punctual attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to organize products neatly and accurately follow visual merchandising guidelines.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail stocking, warehousing, or inventory management is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
