Responsibilities
- Unload and Stock: Safely unload delivery trucks and restock merchandise on shelves according to company standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock is running low to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Organization: Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean sales floor, ensuring all products are facing forward and properly labeled.
- Product Handling: Handle all merchandise with care, ensuring damage control and proper rotation of stock (FIFO).
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Customer Support: Assist customers in locating items and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere as you work.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance is essential for early morning shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on organization and accuracy when stocking shelves.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for pricing and inventory counts.
- Work Ethic: A self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts, typically starting between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
