Responsibilities
- Stock merchandise shelves, coolers, and display areas efficiently before store opening
- Operate provided equipment (carts, ladders, scanners) safely and effectively
- Rotate stock using FIFO method to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Collaborate with overnight crew to maintain organized backroom inventory
- Report maintenance issues with equipment or store fixtures promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols when handling heavy items or operating machinery
Qualifications
- Must be available to work shifts starting between 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM daily
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with proper equipment assistance
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock rotation
- Reliable transportation to Oakland worksite
- No prior experience required - full equipment training provided
- Valid CA Driver's License preferred (for equipment operation)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
