Responsibilities
- Unload, sort, and merchandise incoming inventory with precision and speed
- Rotate stock following FIFO principles to maintain freshness
- Collaborate with overnight team to maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
- Operate pallet jacks and inventory management systems efficiently
- Report inventory discrepancies to department leads promptly
- Adhere to all food safety and OSHA compliance protocols
- Support cross-functional departments during peak operational hours
Qualifications
- Availability to work 4:00 AM - 10:00 AM shifts (5 days/week)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock rotation
- Previous retail or stocking experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid CA driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
