Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and control methods
- Administer medications and monitor pet health during walks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Maintain detailed logs of walk duration, pet behavior, and waste cleanup
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for all weather and traffic conditions
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and their human families
- Participate in weekend and evening walking rotations as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid US driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Basic pet first aid/CPR certification (training provided if needed)
- Exceptional time management and punctuality skills
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Ability to walk 3-5 dogs simultaneously in urban environments
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and reporting
- Must reside within 15 miles of Pittsburgh city center
