Responsibilities
- Provide safe, engaging leash walks for 2-6 dogs per group
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks and report concerns
- Maintain precise service logs and client communication
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, first aid)
- Adapt routes based on weather, pet needs, and client preferences
- Uphold strict safety protocols for dog handling and traffic
- Build rapport with pets and provide detailed post-walk updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional leash handling and dog behavior knowledge
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence
- Availability for morning/evening/weekend shifts
