Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in Newark neighborhoods and parks
- Administer basic care (feeding, hydration, waste cleanup) per owner instructions
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication via our app
- Implement positive reinforcement training techniques during walks
- Monitor pet health and report behavioral or medical concerns immediately
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trust with clients through reliable, punctual service
Qualifications
- Strong love for animals and basic understanding of dog behavior
- Ability to handle dogs weighing up to 75 pounds
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 18+ years old
- Willingness to complete paid training program (2 weeks)
