Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs (1-4 dogs per group) in designated Louisville neighborhoods
- Provide real-time updates to pet owners via our mobile app with photos and GPS tracking
- Administer basic care including hydration, waste cleanup, and leash management
- Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports for each walking session
- Attend bi-weekly training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Build client relationships through exceptional service and reliability
- Adhere to all local pet ordinances and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Unwavering love for dogs and commitment to animal welfare
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data plan
- Ability to walk 2-5 miles daily in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management with punctuality for scheduled walks
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (provided during training)
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
