Responsibilities
- Safely walk and monitor dogs in residential and park settings
- Administer basic pet care including feeding and hydration
- Implement positive reinforcement training techniques
- Maintain detailed client communication and service logs
- Adhere to safety protocols for all dog interactions
- Provide in-home pet sitting when required
- Participate in monthly skill-up workshops
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Strong understanding of canine body language
- Background check and drug screening required
- CPR/First Aid certification (provided during training)
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
