Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and control methods
- Provide timely feeding, medication administration, and waste cleanup services
- Maintain detailed digital records of pet behaviors, health observations, and service logs
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming facilities using company vehicles
- Execute emergency protocols for pet injuries, escapes, or weather-related incidents
- Build client relationships through daily communication and service excellence
- Adhere to Omaha leash laws and pet welfare regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience (shelter/volunteer work acceptable)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily in varying weather conditions
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
