Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in neighborhoods, parks, and beach areas
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior and care routines
- Clean up after pets and ensure walking equipment is sanitized
- Communicate with pet owners via app and photo updates
- Adapt to varying weather conditions and terrain safely
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Strong time management and reliability skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of dog behavior and breed characteristics
