Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and handling protocols
- Provide real-time GPS tracking and photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care including fresh water, waste cleanup, and emergency first aid if needed
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each dog including behavior notes and health observations
- Adhere strictly to client instructions regarding feeding schedules, medication, and behavioral guidelines
- Transport dogs in secure, climate-controlled vehicles for park visits and playdates
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional communication and reliability
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required for transportation)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk up to 3 hours continuously in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and breed-specific traits
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS capabilities
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills with flexible availability
- Professional demeanor and strong communication abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
