Responsibilities
- Provide safe and enjoyable daily walks for dogs of various breeds and sizes.
- Ensure the safety and security of all dogs in your care at all times.
- Adhere to specific instructions regarding exercise routines, feeding, and medication administration.
- Proactively clean up waste in parks and neighborhoods.
- Monitor and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral issues to the pet parent immediately.
- Build positive relationships with pets and their owners through excellent communication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience walking dogs or a strong passion for animal care.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job location.
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs and maintain physical stamina for long walks.
- Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and reference verification.
