Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in Riverside neighborhoods, ensuring they remain on leash and under control.
- Monitor dog behavior and health during walks, reporting any concerns to the owner immediately.
- Clean up after pets promptly and dispose of waste properly to maintain clean environments.
- Administer medication or special feeding instructions as directed by pet owners.
- Provide basic training and socialization to dogs during walks.
- Update digital logs regarding walk times, distances, and dog behavior.
- Greet clients and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor when delivering pets.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience with dogs is preferred but not required; a strong love for animals is essential.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to handle dogs of various sizes.
- Pass a background check and reference verification.
- Must be available for early morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets is a plus.
