Responsibilities
- Walk dogs on scheduled routes in Newark, maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for pets.
- Monitor dog behavior and health during walks, reporting any concerns to the management team.
- Ensure timely communication with clients via our app, providing updates and photos after every walk.
- Manage pet waste disposal and clean up areas immediately to maintain hygiene standards.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and client-specific instructions.
- Perform light pet care duties such as feeding or refilling water bowls if requested.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dog walking or pet sitting is preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A passion for animals and a patient, gentle demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong customer service skills and reliability.
