Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in designated Virginia Beach neighborhoods
- Provide attentive care during walks, monitoring behavior and safety
- Administer medications and follow specific care instructions from pet owners
- Maintain detailed walk logs and communicate updates via our mobile app
- Transport pets to vet appointments or dog parks when needed
- Ensure clean handling of waste and maintain professional appearance
- Build rapport with clients through reliable and compassionate service
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Experience with large breeds or group walks preferred
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR a plus
- Local knowledge of Virginia Beach neighborhoods required
