Responsibilities
- Safe and engaging leash walks for dogs of all sizes in Jersey City neighborhoods
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks, documenting any concerns
- Maintain strict adherence to client care instructions and safety protocols
- Reliable waste cleanup and property etiquette during all walks
- Timely communication with owners via app updates and photo reports
- Flexible scheduling coordination to accommodate client needs
- Basic grooming and feeding services as requested by clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Clean background check and pet first aid certification preferred
