Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs of all sizes and breeds in residential areas and parks
- Provide fresh water and monitor pets for health/behavioral changes
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication updates
- Practice leash safety and emergency protocols during all outings
- Manage multiple client routes efficiently using our mobile app
- Transport pets to vet/groomer appointments when required
- Uphold strict cleanliness standards during all interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS capability
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional time management and punctuality skills
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Local knowledge of Virginia Beach neighborhoods
