Responsibilities
- Safely walk 1-3 dogs at a time in designated Raleigh neighborhoods
- Monitor pets' health and behavior during walks
- Provide detailed post-walk reports via mobile app
- Maintain strict hygiene protocols for equipment handling
- Administer basic care (water, treats as approved)
- Build rapport with clients and their pets
- Adapt routes based on weather and pet preferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking experience
- Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of canine body language
- Background check required
