Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable dog walking services in Fort Wayne neighborhoods
- Monitor pet health, behavior, and safety during outings
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs for each client
- Administer medications as directed (with training)
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments when required
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional communication
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and animal handling best practices
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Passionate about animal welfare with genuine compassion for pets
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
