Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in designated neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, playtime, and medication administration as per client instructions
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and photo updates for owners
- Ensure pets' comfort and safety during all outings and transport
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
- Adhere to strict scheduling and punctuality standards
- Report any behavioral or health concerns promptly to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Strong physical ability to handle large dogs and walk extended distances
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
