Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups (max 4) in designated neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and fresh water as per client instructions
- Monitor pets' health and behavior, documenting any concerns
- Maintain clean and organized equipment (leashes, waste bags, treats)
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/email updates
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong physical fitness to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Positive attitude and exceptional communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
