Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and control methods
- Monitor pet behavior, health, and environmental conditions during walks
- Provide detailed daily reports including walk duration, pet activity, and observations
- Maintain strict adherence to client-specific care instructions and safety protocols
- Administer basic care (e.g., water breaks, waste cleanup) during scheduled visits
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds and walk 3+ hours daily
- Excellent communication skills and digital proficiency for reporting
- Proven reliability with punctual scheduling adherence
