Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs individually or in small groups (max 4 dogs)
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app to pet parents
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, first aid if needed)
- Maintain detailed logs of walks, behavior notes, and client preferences
- Transport dogs to/from veterinary appointments or daycare when required
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Strong time management and punctuality skills
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
