Responsibilities
- Provide safe and engaging leash walks for dogs of various sizes and breeds
- Monitor pets during walks and report any behavioral or health concerns to owners
- Maintain accurate walk logs and client communication via mobile app
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, treats per owner instructions)
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments or daycare when needed
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification
- Ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs and manage multiple pets
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Strong communication skills with pet owners
- Passion for animal welfare and ethical handling practices
