Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash handling and control techniques
- Provide attentive care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime as specified
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and owner communication via mobile app
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during walks and at client properties
- Transport pets in secure, climate-controlled vehicles when required
- Attend regular training sessions on pet first aid and behavior management
- Build strong relationships with pets and their owners through reliable service
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with internet access
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and punctuality
- Knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Positive attitude and genuine love for all dog breeds
