Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Provide companionship and ensure pets' comfort during walks
- Monitor dogs for health/behavior changes and report concerns
- Maintain clean environments (waste cleanup, leash management)
- Follow client-specific care instructions and preferences
- Utilize GPS tracking app for real-time location updates
- Document walk details and pet observations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Washington state driver's license and insured vehicle
- Ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs safely
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and first aid
- Reliable smartphone with data plan
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Availability for weekday/evening/weekend shifts
- Must pass background check and drug screening
