Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while ensuring strict accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with a focus on problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and sales floor.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and price changes as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
