Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care needs in a respectful and professional manner.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Document patient care activities, medications administered, and any changes in condition in the electronic health record.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, patients, and family members to ensure continuity of care.
- Support the team during peak shifts with high energy and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills are preferred.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.
