Responsibilities
- Coordinate community events and outreach initiatives across Memphis neighborhoods
- Build relationships with local residents to identify needs and service gaps
- Distribute informational materials about health, education, and social services
- Collect and document community feedback for program improvement
- Collaborate with partner organizations to maximize resource accessibility
- Represent MCA at community gatherings and public forums
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and participant interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience in community engagement or customer service
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency with basic office software (MS Office Suite)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly preferred
- Passion for Memphis community development
