Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments with strict attention to detail and cash drawer accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
- Resolve customer complaints and handle returns and exchanges efficiently.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive store goals and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cash handling or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
