Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit/debit card payments with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numeracy skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light boxes (up to 25 lbs).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
