Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately to process customer purchases.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with strict adherence to company security policies.
- Assist customers in locating products and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.
- Restock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure the store is fully stocked and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock needs replenishing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
