Responsibilities
- Greet and Engage: Welcome customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance with finding products.
- Processing Transactions: Accurately scan items, process payments via cash, credit, or mobile apps, and handle returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Inventory Support: Assist in stocking shelves, organizing the checkout area, and ensuring the sales floor remains clean and tidy.
- Customer Service: Answer questions about products, promotions, and store policies with a positive attitude.
- Point of Sale (POS) Management: Maintain accurate records of daily sales and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
