Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and assist with locating products to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and organize the checkout area, ensuring all provided equipment is in proper working order.
- Return & Exchange: Efficiently process returns and exchanges while adhering to company policies and loss prevention standards.
- Inventory Support: Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Math Skills: Strong aptitude for basic arithmetic and handling cash accurately.
- Equipment Handling: Ability to learn and operate standard retail equipment (provided during training).
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
