Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and securely using the POS system.
- Greet all customers warmly upon arrival and assist them with finding products or answering inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Keep the sales floor and checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist in inventory management and price checks when required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is a plus but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is required.
