Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide top-tier customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict attention to accuracy and reconciliation.
- Assist with restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized sales floor.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with high precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Must have reliable transportation and availability to work weekends and holidays.
