Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet all customers warmly and assist with product inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
