Responsibilities
- Greet all customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the point of sale.
- Process transactions accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) systems, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Handle cash deposits and end-of-day reports with strict attention to detail and integrity.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries about store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience for every patron.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and loss prevention.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation is required.
