Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and exit, providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately, processing payments and handling returns.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies with confidence.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with inventory management, including scanning items and monitoring stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
